Have you been wondering when the “village” is going to show up and surround you in community? You aren’t alone.

Family Friend is a new, local, membership-based community of caregivers and families, created to connect queer families with likeminded community and to help them find affirming resources and childcare pros who just get it.

Beyond individual care, we are organizing a local movement by fostering more connections between families and caregivers, and working together with local grassroots and nonprofit orgs. We also encourage our community to take part in more accessible and community based forms of childcare, such as care shares and care pods between nearby families, further strengthening Portland’s Queer Parenting Village!
